Peacock doodle

So just a quick and short update. I have been very busy lately I'm working on a few clay projects and this is my first time with clay so I will be sure to post pictures of that and talk about it. However today I had some free time so I decided to work on my style with watercolors I drew a quick headshot of a Peacock appropriately named Etien (I would like to have him for an "OC" and maybe make a few illustrations of a peacock going through his day later on. I was really trying to use the darker blues and the lighter greens in the watercolors to add almost a feeling of form and value in his simple little sketch using color. I love color but I do think maybe adding some purples and yellows could push those ideas further. I hope to go far as an illustrator actually there are so many things I can do now for even a career and I hope to become even more flexible with my art.
